Robyn Parras is the Principal of Prodigy Performing Arts. She has had training in RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap, Modern and Jazz and BAL tap and GWT Tap. Robyn also has her Diploma in Childcare Services (0-12 years) and has completed a 4-year degree at university to gain a Bachelor of Primary Education at the Australian Catholic University. Robyn also holds a certificate 3 in fitness instructing and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Miss Robyn is still heavily involved in teaching at her studio so she can connect with all her students of all ages.
Since 2011, Robyn is the manager and choreographer of the official Sydney Roosters Cheer squad as well as the junior squad. During this time, Robyn has choreographed a myriad of routines that entertain fans both on and off the field. Her role at the Sydney Roosters also allows her to organise and develop exciting Dance Spectaculars which consist of upward of 600 Children on field.
Robyn is extremely passionate about her students. She thrives in teaching every single student as an individual and helping them reach their fullest potential in both dance and also within themselves to bring out positive self confidence. Robyn believes every child is unique and is capable of anything they put their mind to with the positive encouragement in our all inclusive, positive, fun, friendly, safe and family orientated studio.
Miss Corrina has been training in all styles of dance for over 18 years and has completed major levels of RAD ballet, Glenwood tap and BAL tap exams. She has completed at national level in various competitions and has had the opportunity to train and perform internationally.
In 2016, Miss Corrina completed her Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies allowing her to obtain RAD registered teaching status. She also completed her Bachelor of Medical Science majoring in Anatomy and Physiology in the same year. She continues her professional development yearly by completing various courses and has also completed all 3 levels of Marie Walton’s ‘Progressing Ballet Technique’.
Over the last 6 years, Miss Corrina has sent hundreds of students for RAD ballet exams from pre-primary through to Advanced 1. She has also had the privilege of choreographing award winning solo and group pieces for state and national competitions.
Miss Corrina prides herself on her extended knowledge of the mechanics of the body and how to achieve the best out of each child by always applying safe dance practise techniques. Miss Corrina is excited to educate and pass on her love of dance to the students of Prodigy Performing Arts in 2020!
Christie Anderson has been dance training at Prodigy Performing Arts since it was founded in 2008. Christie has been training in the area ‘s of GWT Tap, RAD Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, cheerleading, Musial Theatre, Singing, contemporary, lyrical and has also been part of the Prodigy Performing Arts Eisteddfod troupes.
Christie has had many performance opportunities such as performing as a junior squad member for the Sydney Rooters Cheer Squad, performing at the Sydney Royal Easter show in the street parade and on many different stages throughout the show. Christie also likes to support local community events by performing at school fetes.
In 2014, Christie toured LA with the Rock the Block Dance LA tour an took part in many performances and workshops throughout LA including Jazz and Hip Hop workshops at the well known “The Edge” Performing Arts Centre, Lyrical workshops at the world renowned “Millennium Dance Studio”. Christie also took workshops at the prestigious “Disney Performing Arts Centre” and performed on the Thunder Ranch stage In Disneyland.
Christie has been selected to be a part of the Sydeny Roosters Cheer squad which has also presented her many opportunities to perform at various professional and corporate events including the 2018 Grand final.
Christie is currently undergoing her university degree to become a PD/H/PE and dance teacher.
Christie’s favourite thing to teach is cheerleading, tap and hip-hop. Christie really loves teaching Dance and is looking forward to being part of the Rock the Block Dance staff and teaching all our beautiful, fantastic and super talented students.
Shane Cook has trained at Glenda Benton Academy of Dance 1999- 2006, Brent Street Studios Fulltime Course 2007 and Jazz Du Funk International Company Shanghai 2007 – 2008.

Shane has appeared in many TV commercials as well as joined many stars on different dance tours around the world.
Jess has been performing since the age of 5, she has studied and is trained in many styles of dancing including GWT Tap, RAD Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Cheerleading, Musial Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical, Chorus Line and Burlesque.
She has had many performance opportunities including being a member of the Sydney Roosters Junior Cheer Squad, performing and competing in Troupes, Solos and Duos at Eisteddfods. Jess has performed in Musicals including Annie, Grease, Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard Of Oz, and Productions such as The Phantom of the Opera, Hyperspace, The Wedding Singer and We Will Rock You.
Jess has toured LA with RTB Dance and took part in many performances and workshops. Jess is a teacher, student and choreographer at RTB dance studio and is looking forward to a future in the dance industry both as a professional dancer and teacher.
Miss Emily has been dancing at Prodigy Performing Arts since it was founded in 2008 and is currently one of Prodigy Performing Arts senior dancers as well as a student teacher . She has been trained in areas such as Glen Wood Tap, Rad ballet , hip-hop, jazz, hip hoo lyrical, contemporary, cheerleading, chorus line and a lot more.
Miss Emily has represented Prodigy Performing Arts as a Sydney roosters cheerleader, dancing at the Sydney royal Easter show , modelled with Jennifer Hawkins , danced at nrl games as a back up dancer for Samantha jade aswell as justice crew. For the first time ever she was selected as a featured dancer in 2 ensembles at school spectacular for tap and hip hop.
Miss Emily is has future to study dance and build her knowledge to become a successful performer and dance teacher. Miss Emily currently teaches little prodigies, juniors and our 8/u troupe whom she adores and loves seeing them improve and gain confidence
Miss Melanie has been involved in the performing arts for over 20 years. In 2001 she was awarded a scholarship on the Advanced Balled Exam in BAL for achieving one of the highest marks in Australia and New Zealand.
In 2006 completed a full time course at ED5 and since then have been working professionally as a dancer, circus artist and actor. In 2007-2009 was a solo artist ( dancer and Hoops) in El Circo at Sydneys’ renowned circus restaurant Slide. In 2008-9 worked through Grayboy on Princess Cruises as a dancer.
From 2010 onwards has worked In the Cabaret scene with a variety of different agencies. Has worked in venues all over Sydney and Australia such as the Art house, Slide bar, , Victoria room , the Westin Hotel, Many RSL and clubs, Luna Park Crystal Bar, Opera house, Town Hall, Star city casino and Museum of Contemporary arts.
Melanie is also a seasoned circus artist with over 10 years experience. Melanie has performed all over Sydney as an aerialist and ground artist at high end cooperate gigs; some include Emway, Taronga zoo, Crown Plaza, and Voltzwagon. She has also travelled to Hong Kong and worked at Ophelia night club through stimulate productions as a fan dancer and LED hoop performer.
She has trained with top mentors and coaches over the years ranging from cirque du soleil artists/ trainers, fruit flys and Aerialize. Her acrobatics coach of over 15 years is renowned Dymitri Zorin ( ex USSR Olympic coach 1980-88).
She has been teaching for over 15 years and is focused on creating future circus artists and athletes and hopes that one day they all run away with the circus. Mel enjoys working with young students to ‘mold’ them into artistic and creative individuals and tap into their innovative and confident selves.
Kasey has been Dancing for 12 years and training in the Circus Arts for 9 years, she been an assistant instructor for Circus for 3 years in areas of Tissu, contortion and acrobatics. Kasey has studied BAL syllabus for Ballet and TAP where she achieved honourable results in her exams. She has trained under Melanie Cicchini for the past 9 years and also trained with ex USSR Olympic Gymnastic Coach Dymitri Zorin .
Since 2016 Kasey has been a member of the NSW Public Schools Weekly Dance Ensembles which has afforded her the opportunity to perform at Regional and State Dance Festivals. In 2017 also featured as a soloist for HSC callbacks at the Seymour Centre for Composition.
In 2017, 2018 & 2019 Kasey has successfully auditioned and became a Featured Dancer for School Spectacular for the following genres, Musical Theatre, Jazz & Contemporary.
She has also competed and performed in The Australian Circus Festival in 2015 & 2017 as an aerial soloist, Trio Acrobatic Act and the Opening Display piece.
In the last few years Kasey has competed in many dance competitions and is a Regional and National winner. Most notably in 2019 Kasey competed in Hollywood Bound National Competition and was the National Overall Senior Diamond Champion, and placed 1st in all sections becoming the National Champion in Acrobatics, Contemporary, Lyrical , Jazz , Broadway/Musical Theatre and Miss Hollywood & May 2019 she was The City of Penrith Scholarship recipient. In July she was also nominated for the Campbelltown Rotary Award for Performing Arts through Campbelltown Performing Arts High School and was Runner Up.
Kasey is an upcoming performer who has begun working professionally in the areas of Circus Arts and Dancing. She has worked for high corporate events as an aerialist, contortionist, Acrobat and dancer through Dancer 4 Events, Beeswax & Bottlecaps, Aerialize , WB Productions & Parras Productions. Some of these events and venues include: Four Seasons Sydney Hotel, The Ivy, Anitas Theatre, Miss Multiverse , NRL Grand Final, Bondi of The Winds Festival , Gold Telethon 2018 & Flirt Des Cirque VIP Night at Revesby Workers Club.
Kasey has also represented Prodigy Performing Arts at Charity Events such as 2018 Ocagi Charity Ball & dancing for various Rooster Dance Spectacular events.
Kasey is currently studying for her HSC and is inspiring to enhance her performing arts skills in fulltime for 2021, to one day work as a professional Circus Artist and Dancer.
Kasey enjoys working with young children as an instructor for both Dance and Circus and loves being a member of the Prodigy Performing Arts Team.
From television commercials to on stage performances, Christina is a well rounded and passionate performer who is very excited to become part of the Prodigy family this year.
Christina’s extensive training in all genres at GY Dance and full time at Ettingshausens Dynamic Arts landed her on TV Week Logie Awards, X Factor, Young Talent Time and Nickelodeon Slime Fest to name a few. Her strong commercial jazz background awarded her professional jobs under the direction of renowned choreographers such as The Squared Division, Marko Panzic and Kaylie Yee who she said have inspired her to become the teacher she is today.
Apart from her flare for performing on stage, Christina has also made appearances on screen for Dance Academy, Razzle Dazzle and various music videos. Along with this, modelling for Bonds, Crocs Footwear and Blu Sport Swimwear are also credits to add to her career in the industry. Christina was also fortunate enough to work at venues such as Marquee and The Ivy as a podium dancer.
All these credits aside, Christina’s main passion is teaching. She believes that a great teacher provides their students not only with tools for the studio, but also for life as well. Believing in her students is key and that is exactly what Christina hopes to bring to Prodigy this year; a fresh new perspective for her students and to create memories with them in this next journey as part of the Prodigy family.
Brent Street graduate Dylan Bull is a professional dancer located in Sydney. At age 9 he started training in the performing arts and is skilled in a variety of genres in dance. Dylan has now performed for company’s such as sun rise, AMWAY Japan and The state of origin, Danced behind artists such as Vanessa Amerosi, John Paul-young and Pauline, and also guest performed for choreographers such as Jade Chyoenoth and willdabeast. Dylan has been teaching and choreographing hip hop all over Sydney and is very exited to join prodigy performing arts.
Hi! My name is Lulani Rawson and I am a new teacher here at Prodigy Performing Arts. I am a professional dancer with Dargie Entertainment, I have completed two years of full time dance training with Dargie Full Time, gaining professional training in a variety of many styles, a Diploma of Dance Elite Performance (2019) and a Advanced Diploma of Dance (2020). This year at Prodigy, I have the pleasure of teaching Pre-intermediate Ballet, Pre-teen Ballet and Musical Theatre. I am a very passionate and caring dance teacher. I love passing down my training, knowledge, experience and skills to my students. My goal for this year is to see success, growth and many smiles of confidence from my students each week and inspire them to work hard and achieve their dreams.
